Features and Benefits

The DuroFlow's 40 pound square load design allows models with longer lobe lengths to operate at higher pressures and deeper vacuums. Additional design features include oversized bearings, ductile iron rotors and one piece high strength shafts.

Solid rotors on the 3000 and 4500 Series eliminate vibration caused when hollow rotors become unbalanced due material build-up inside the rotor cavities.

DuroFlow blowers are flexible enough to accommodate application air direction, with vertical or horizontal flexible mounting capabilities. DuroFlow blowers are also center-timed, which allows you to operate them in either rotation. This flexibility reduces inventory requirements and allows you the flexibility for mounting into any system.

Either surge conditions or high torque start-ups can cause some blowers to lose their timing, but the DuroFlow blower has its timing gears mounted on machine shaft splines. This means your blower will spend more time in operation and less time off-line being repaired.

Quieter operation with helical timing gears.

Oversized double row ball bearings support each shaft and fix the rotor position. This prevents destructive axial rotor movement commonly caused by misaligned V-belt drives.

You won't have to worry about messy oil leaks since DuroFlow uses Viton® oil seals for maximum seal life and leak-free operation, even in continuous, severe-duty applications. Viton® oil seals allow the blower to operate with a discharge air temperature up to 350° F.  DuroFlow blowers also offer a vented seal arrangement where the seal cavity can be piped back to the inlet of the blower to capture any gas that may leak past the seals.
Another maintenance time saver is DuroFlow's splash lubrication system. Splash oil lubrication at both the gear and the drive ends provides superior gear and bearing lubrication at all operating conditions with minimal maintenance.  The 3000 and 4500 Series blowers have interconnected oil sumps that facilitate easy filling and draining. The 7000 Series features individual over-sized sumps for extended operation between oil changes.
