The side view is of the DDC VC. The overall height of the unit is 2 5/16”.

The overall height of the DDC without the volume compensator (VC) is 1 1/2”.

As noted in the drawing the VC adds 7/8” to the overall height of the unit.

Dimensionally, the top view does not change from one unit to the other.
