OBER NEWS
October 2003
September 19, 2003 – Alsip, IL: Tuthill Pump Company recently honored Paul Springer of Ober-Read & Associates at a Company Presentation held at their Alsip plant. After a series of recent successes in converting products from competition to Tuthill at York International, management at Tuthill invited Paul and Cheryl Springer to spend a weekend in Chicago on the house. The event started with a presentation to the entire Alsip staff, and was followed by a weekend that included a stay at the 4 Seasons-Downtown Chicago, reservations at Morton’s Steakhouse and Nine restaurants for Friday and Saturday, and tickets for the show ‘Chicago’ at the Schubert Theatre. Paul and the support staff at Tuthill have built a great team to go after business at York. They’ve tackled pumps that were sold by Viking, Dienes and Cascom, to become a sole pump supplier for the entire organization. The total converted product well exceeded the $100K goal that Tuthill set for new business, to result in such a lavish weekend trip.
Tuthill has offered this to “ALL’ Ober-Read field salespeople for the addition of a new customer (or single new project at an existing account) over $100K in annual business. For closure of a Concord account the trip will be to San Francisco, and for LubeTech it will be Chicago. Either are great cities to visit. We collectively hope this incentive will add a little extra motivation to your Tuthill Concord and LubeTech efforts.

The LubeTech Team thanks Paul Springer (center) for landing some solid new sales at York International. From Left Kathy Parry, VP Business Development, Cheryl and Paul Springer, Randy Sarason, Value Stream Manager, and Dave Zvejnieks, Commercial Team Manager.
